Posters and Judging for Big Ideas contest

This year's CITRIS White Paper student competition received another set of fantastic, innovative proposals, full of enthusiasm and great ideas for using IT in the service of society. The judges had a very difficult time narrowing them down to the top twelve finalists, who will participate in Friday’s poster session.

Second Opinion: A Collaborative Online Game for Medical Diagnosis, led by Ephrat Bitton at UC Berkeley

Bringing Reliable Power and Mobile Communication to West Africa to Improve Emergency Obstetric Care, led by Laura E. Stachel at UC Berkeley

Oakland Blues, led by the Digital Design Research Group (Architecture) and Interactive Storytelling Group (Journalism) at UC Berkeley

 

Students from each of these groups will present a poster on their project and be interviewed by the judges, followed by the presentation of the final awards.
