CITRIS IBM Day
Sensors, at your Service!
This by-invitation-only day will include talks on existing
or planned "sensor networks"-based Services, as well as a discussion
of what a reasonable roadmap for research and development in this field will
look like. As we enter a new era of Services-based economies, we see a strong
move towards a plethora of networked information devices, such as sensors,
providing us with a unique opportunity for the development of new highly
interdisciplinary academic studies as well as new Services covering Healthcare,
Energy and the Environment. These new challenges will be discussed in our
workshop as will their technical, legal and complex systemic implications.
