Molecular Foundry Workshop

Molecular Foundry Building, LBNL

The Molecular Foundry, a User Facility for Nanoscale Science Research at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, will celebrate the inauguration of the Foundry's $85M new laboratory with this May 25-26 workshop that will introduce prospective users to the capabilities of the Foundry, the Foundry staff, the nature of research already underway and the procedures involved in applying for and using the facilities.

The goal of the International Conference on Information and Communication Technologies and Development (ICTD) on May 25 and 26 is to provide a forum for academic researchers working with ICT applied to development. This scientifically rigorous conference will bring together researchers in both the social and technical sciences, with representation from a number of academic disciplines such as anthropology, sociology, economics, political science, computer science, electrical engineering, and industrial design.
