As we know, healthcare is now the largest industry in the U.S., with expenditures of more than $2.1 trillion annually. The healthcare initiative at CITRIS is creating science, engineering, and businesses around this opportunity.

At this year's CITRIS IAB meeting, we will update you on our funding, new building and recent successes. And we will hear from Dr. Thomas Nesbitt from UC Davis about the CITRIS contributions to innovative telemedicine that will dramatically increase the availability of vital health services to people in remote areas.
