1) New CITRIS Projects

Identify new CITRIS projects as they start up. Make sure they are classified and added to the website

2) CITRIS Project Review - high level

Setup a meeting to reclassify CITRIS projects, identify dead projects, discover missing projects, and find any factual inaccuracies.

This meeting will involve Tao, Travis, Gary and Paul Wright. Then follow up and make sure all new information gets updated in the project database.

How To: Create a Newsletter

CITRIS Newsletters are created using a DreamWeaver Template file (.dwt).

Before you begin:

You will have to do the following steps only once, not for every newsletter. If you've already created your site in DreamWeaver and have the template file please skip to "Creating the Newsletter."

You will need: Templates.zip

Make sure you have a copy of DreamWeaver handy.
Download the Templates folder (zip) which contains the template file named newsletter.dwt.
Create a Site in DreamWeaver for managing your CITRIS files.
1. Open DreamWeaver and go to Site > New Site.
2. Choose a name for your site, CITRIS for example.
3. Enter http://citris-uc.org for the site url. Click Next.
4. Choose "No, I do not want to use a server technology." Click Next.
5. Choose "Edit directly on server using local network."
6. Browse to find your Site's root directory. For example, if all of your CITRIS files are in C:\CITRIS, this should be your root directory. Click Next.
7. Verify that you've entered all of your information correctly. When you have, click Done.
When you unzip the Templates folder, make sure you place it in your site's root directory. This should be the same directory that contains your Newsletters folder. For example, if you keep your newsletters in C:\CITRIS\Newsletters you should unzip the Templates folder to create C:\CITRIS\Templates. If you don't have a Newsletters folder yet, create one now.
