2023 CITRIS Foundry alum PosTrue has been selected for Stage 1 of the VentureWell E-Team Program.
The PosTrue app is a muscle stiffness monitor for athletic injury prevention and recovery, designed to counter chronic back, shoulder and neck pain by looking at posture as the root cause. It provides real-time tracking of muscle health and encourages healthy posture habits.
The first stage of the E-Team program, called Pioneer, provides $5,000 of “non-dilutive” funding, or capital that doesn’t require businesses to give up any equity or ownership. It also involves an entrepreneurship training workshop, which helps inventors find the best market for their product.
